A lot of my clients wrongly assume that their technology is what’s going to win over the investors.
What they don’t realise is that their team is at least as important.
Focusing on who is on your team—and demonstrating why you are the right people to develop your technology, service or product and bring it successfully to market—is critical to a successful pitch. Especially when your technology doesn’t impress the investor.
In this video, I share a story about a client of mine whose team was incredible, but whose technology was of no interest to the investor. A year later, the founder came back to the investor with an improved technology, and he got the funding.
