Beth recently coached the newest Global Innovation Policy Accelerator (GIPA) cohort, Brazil, comprising a diverse range of innovation policymakers that span geographies, ministries and agencies. Themes focused on making innovation less cumbersome and more scalable, commercialising university research, and promoting a culture that values social innovation, among other topics.
Over the next 9 months the cohort will form teams, develop projects around an innovation policy challenge, and test their ideas to find out which ones can be scaled up. They will gain exposure to the UK innovation system, receive mentoring relevant to their projects from experts like Beth, and apply new methods as part of the journey.
